Visitor comments

  • "We stayed late June a group of 5 motorcyclists, a bit in need of cheering up. By chance we came across the hotel L'Avancher. We could not have been made more welcome.we were shown to our clean, well appointed rooms, Beer outside on the terrace, with nibbles, followed by a shower with plentiful hot water, a Garage to put the bikes in" - Customer Feedback
  • "We have recently returned from skiing in Val D'Isere and stayed in a hotel for the first time, previous experience had been in catered chalets.
L'Avancher made a very pleasant change. Well placed for shopping and bus route to the pistes and near enough to stagger home from the many bars of Val. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel itself served a decent breakfast and has a popular restaurant for evening meals. Booking is a good idea." - Customer Feedback
  • "First time staying in L'Avancher and it ticked every box..! On booking, Isobel on reception couldn't have been more helpful. She supplied the quiet, relaxing room I so needed. Sorted ski pass's, restaurant reservations, sorted ski hire queries. All with a smile and great efficiency. My room was a good size, immaculately clean, quiet & with a lovely balcony with a stunning outlook. The hotel is out of the bustle of the main town but only a 5 min walk. 30 metres from a free bus stop to take you to la Daille, La Fornet etc and the main lift in no time at all." - Customer Feedback
  • "I stayed for one night in off season and I thought it was a great place. Decent breakfast, good bar and nice rooms with toiletries provided. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service." - Customer Feedback
  • "The location, rooms, cleanliness and the overall set-up could not be faulted at all - everything we could have asked for. Plus all our pre-arrival questions and requests were dealt with very efficiently as well as professionally. Oh, and the food is amazing too." - Customer Feedback
