Discover and book Val d'Isere bus services

Updated

Val d'Isère is nestled in a beautiful valley at the foot of the mountains, with its chocolate box chalets and hotels spread between the central town and its outlying villages. All of them are connected via free and regular shuttle buses.

Val d'Isère has greatly reduced the volume of car traffic in resort courtesy of its network of shuttle buses which are offered free of charge to visitors.

There are three routes: Red, Blue and Yellow, that link the different areas of the resort from morning to night every day of the season.

Red line

  • operates between Le Fornet and La Daille from 07:00 to 02:30
  • frequency varies between every five to 20 minutes depending on the time of day
  • operates during the summer season, circulating daily every 15 minutes from 08:00 to 19:45
  • frequency drops slightly to every 30 minutes during the first and last weeks of the season

Blue line

  • runs between Legettaz and the Rond Point des Pistes from 08:30 to 23:20 every 15 minutes

Yellow line

  • operates from Le Con to Le Manchet (via the tourist office) from 08:28 to 23:30 every 20 minutes
  • all of the buses go to the Rond Point des Pistes making access to the slopes super easy wherever you are staying in resort

There is a detailed timetable and bus-route map at each bus stop and in real time on the Val d'Isère ski app.

Winter 2024/25: Val d'Isère-Tignes shuttles and the region's coaches will now stop at the brand new La Daille bus station. Passengers will then need to take the free Red Line to reach the village.
