Le Panoramic Restaurant, Tignes - Grande Motte
Gourmet restaurant, snack bar and self-service with breathtaking panoramic views
Located right at the top of the Funicular and situated on the Grande Motte glacier, this restaurant serves gourmet lunch specials.
With amazing views and fabulous food, it's a treat to eat at the restaurant here. Jean-Michel Bouvier is the chef behind this restaurant, creating delicious dishes that everyone can enjoy. You will be served by friendly staff wearing the traditional Savoyard berets - at the end of the meal you will leave satisfied and ready to tackle the mountain.
They also have a snack bar for a quick bite to eat whilst on the go, or a self-service - Cantine des Bouvier - for a slightly lighter lunch stop than the restaurant, but made with the same fresh ingredients.
Booking is recommended for the restaurant, open every day in winter from 12:00 to 14:30. The Cantine des Bouvier opens every day in winter from 11:45 to 15:00. The snack bar is open every day in winter and summer from 11:00 to 15:00 (until 16:00 in the summer).
Directions
Accessible via the funicular in Tignes Val Claret. For those in Val d'Isere, the best way to get to the restaurant is from the Bellevarde side of the mountain - take the Olympique bubble up, ski down the Verte piste to the Tommeuses chairlift and then ski down Piste H to the Funicular in Val Claret.
